· Alignment with the audience - what is big data
· How big it is?

Overview
"Big Data" is a popular term used to describe knowledge of exponential growth, availability and use of information in data-rich environment, the economy of information emerging. It is an information challenge because of the quantity of data, the rate of formation and their variation and complexity that exceed the capabilities of traditional application support, architecture and processing. So much of the information appears in a structured, semi-structured and unstructured forms, text, multimedia, etc. form. Big Data concept can be seen as a new element that can be installed in different types of information systems, and with its help address issues of business intelligence, operational performance or for example, the statistics division sales of goods and services. CRM - $36 Billion Industry
15:00 - 15:30 Hall Tomislav 1
Presentation focus:
· Key to a successful business is happy customers and repeat business
· Why is CRM forecasted to grow faster than other enterprise software categories?
· Most CRM software today is primarily used for data entry
· Sales and marketing people work through workflows that equally touch support, operations, finance, legal and other functions
· Data can be analyzed in real-time
Overview:
No transformation is more challenging than meeting the service expectations of digitally empowered customers. Digital technologies enable companies to better engage with their customers and offer superior experiences at affordable costs. But providing outstanding experiences to increasingly savvy, and fickle, customers is getting harder. Customer expectations go beyond ease of use; they’re now expecting proactive experiences. Big data is one of the enablers of proactive customer experiences. Thriving companies will continue to leverage data by using it to address the cracks in company security, worries about data privacy, and the limitations of analytics that became apparent in the first wave of big data. Thriving companies are also integrating related products and services into sophisticated industry solutions, while extending and restructuring industry boundaries, essentially creating whole new industries.
Companies must become more innovative to better respond to the highly competitive, global business environment. Collaboration is indispensable for innovation, both within the company’s own boundaries and beyond, with customers, partners, startups, universities, and research communities. Collaboration and ecosystems are particularly important in the emerging Internet of Things, where multiple companies across different industries must make sure that their offerings work with each other in a number of highly complex areas including health care, home automation, and smart cities.
Companies must rethink their structures and culture to better deal with new market environments and business models. The hierarchic organization that prevailed in the 20th century’s production-oriented industrial economy will not work in the more global and fast-changing digital economy. The companies that are most successfully adapting are making a cultural shift from “Mad Men” to “Math Men,” where decision making is increasingly based on data rather than on the frequently wrong opinions of senior executives.
Key take-aways:
1. CRM is getting Disrupted
2. Workflow software will be able to automatically capture data
3. Instead of being a place to entry data, CRM becomes a piece of software that helps doing job seamlessly and communicate while the data-entry gets doneSpeaker: Trpimir Kvesic | Founder & CEO @ In Sky Solutions
Speaker: Dominik Rojkovic | Founder & CTO @ In Sky Solutions

Big Data and Real time data processing - what is the connection?
16:00 - 16:30 Hall Tomislav 1
Presentation focus:
· How we see big data?
· Which industries benefit the most out of big data?
· What is the relevance of real time data processing?
· Best practice and customer testimonials
Overview:
Big Data is still a buzzword, but the time has come to start delivering also, instead of just talking about it. Big data is all about getting the right data at the right time, as that can be the difference between success and failure.
Companies focusing on getting the right data in the right time can target their customers more precisely, thus increasing sales and offer conversions. Having that in mind, getting the right information in real time is considered to be almost a holy grail - as real time data processing provides vital information in the second that particular information was even born. Targeting customers with a solution which resolves a need customer has, within a few seconds after that particular need has appeared- that increases conversion rates of targeted offers for sure.
Key take-aways:
1. How is real time connected to big data?
2. Why is real time data processing so important?
3. What are the benefits of real time data processing?Speaker: Mario Maric | Business Development Manager @ Combis

How do you use your data. What data?
16:30 - 17:00 Hall Tomislav 1
Presentation focus:
· Business needs in terms of analyzing data.
· How do companies do it now, what is the problem with approach and what is awaiting them tomorrow?
· Can BI help and how, and what does it take from my perspective to prepare?
Companies are flooded with data but actually are not still skilled enough to get max out of it. Is the solution to continue talking about BI and Big data etc. or just start analyzing data and see where it takes you? If companies continue producing reports just to satisfy someone’s request without actually enabling people to understand data, they will definitely feel market’s response to that sooner or later. A large distribution and logistics company in region is great example what happens in ways people do their business if they stop producing reports and actually start analyzing data to understand it. For that to succeed you need few key aspects that presentation will cover – change management, right tool and everyone’s willing to move forward (yes, including IT).
Key take-aways:
1. Start thinking about current data you have
2. Analyze data, don't report it
3. Change perspective of IT dept.Speaker: Milan Listes | Head of BI @ Adacta

Presentation focus:
· Acceleration from Digitalization
· Challenges facing the CIO
· Investment Strategy Priorities
· Invisible Infrastructure and Enterprise Cloud
Overview:
Key to the digitalization of business is the rapid expansion of Cloud, Mobile, Social and Big Data. The pace of business and patience of customers has shortened as a result. 09:00 - 09:45 Hall Tomislav 2
Presentation focus:
· Digital transformation provides industry with unparalleled opportunities for value creation
· Digital technologies are creating new profit pools by transforming customer expectations
· According to HBR study “The Digital Transformation of Business” Cloud computing drives business agility while Mobile computing enables new business scenarios, furthermore Big data helps companies innovate and Social media transforms core business processes
· Business agility results through four aspects / levels of business process management: productivity, flexibility, adaptability and organizational awareness
Overview:
The presentation will be show how to achieve agility and digital transformation, in complex market conditions and the high speed of change, using business processes management paradigms and digital technology. In Brussels, on February 16, 2016 a declaration on digital transformation was adopted, with seven EU recommendations, requesting concrete and urgent action at all levels, in order to accelerate the transition of all subjects in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and digital economy. With this declaration, EU is sending a clear message to the whole Europe to accelerate its development and transformation, in order to survive and remain competitive. Digital transformation is a strategic way by which the current system is transformed into a higher level of business, on the grounds such as Open -> Digital - > Virtual -> Agile.
There is a difference between agile and fast. According to Gartner, agility requires: stability, speed, strength and coordination. More specifically, the speed and agility involves changes and stability of the system, so increasing speed must not destabilize the system and to the contrary, stabilization of the system must not lose speed. Being proactive is a key indicator of achieving agility. In terms of digital transformation, agile means being aware, productive, flexible and adaptive using digital technology. Business Process Management (BPM) as an operating business model integrates the activities, people, resources, IT systems, and information technology companies. Therefore, in order to the company become or stay agile, for managers is critical to systematically and continuously manage business processes at all levels.
Innovations based on a combination of technologies "force" companies to review their operations and change agile. The use of social networks, mobile and cloud computing, Big Data, IoT and other new technologies enable changing business models and business processes of companies, as well as customer relations. The largest effects are in the application of technology and a new approach to the entire value chain of the company, combining innovative operating model with cheaper, more customized products, faster service and improved user experience. Another fundamental aspect of the digital transformation is intensive cooperation within vertical industries, enhancing networking and acceleration of product, processes and business models innovation. Cooperation, in the grounds implies an adjustment and integration of business processes with suppliers and partners, while following innovation and integration crucial is building digital relationships with customers and improve the user experience.
Key take-aways:
1. Digital technology will transform most industries, their business processes and relationships with customers
2. The speed and agility involves rapid changes and stability of the system
3. The use of social networks, mobile and cloud computing, Big Data and IoT enable changing business models and business processes of companies, as well as customer relationsDistinguished key-note Speaker: Prof. Slavko Vidovic, PhD | CEO @ Infodom

Overview:
The initiative for development of Business Process Management (BPM), Change Management (CM) and Project management (PM) in City of Zagreb was launched by The Mayor's Office in order to achieve business excellence and providing better services to citizens and entrepreneurs. The goal was to establish an effective, efficient, transparent, flexible, “user-oriented” City Administration.

Manage business processes means being able to change it when business logic requires that, when conditions in which this process works are changed or when there is a need for new services. This requires knowledge, a clear methodological approach and technology that will support all of the above.
Repository of business processes contains individual knowledge of employees of the city, set up in a knowledge base of city business and they are easy to understand, analyze and evaluate. Repository of business processes, with integrated strategic development plan of the City of Zagreb is a strong base for development of Zagreb in the direction of smart cities and the implementation of relevant projects.
Implemented projects include the development of system of continuous education of employees, which will be built not only the expertise of employees, but also to encourage changes in behavior and the manner of conducting operations through the introduction of analysis and continuous improvement of business as usual activities.
Effective BPM contributes to the simplification and modernization of administrative procedures, providing fast and reliable support to citizens and businesses, facilitates the preparation and implementation of projects and increases transparency and competitiveness of the City of Zagreb, which will enable better development of entrepreneurship, attract investment and boost overall social and economic development.

· Objective Vs. Subjective
· Objectives of the ERP implementation
· Associated risks and how to manage them
Overview:
The investment in a new integrated information system, is the one of the largest and most important investment in any company. Beside the financial impact in the year of purchase, the choice have probably a major influence on the business results of the company in the next ten or more years. The decision about the product and implementation, therefore becomes so heavy that the whole project often indefinitely postponed. During the selection, management trying to precisely define the requirements of the future IS, so that they can objectively compare each offer, and that they could justified final choice by rational arguments. Despite the reasonable approach of choice by rational methods, often is the most important how was impression that a potential bidder left during the presentation, empathy for the problems of the client and knowledge of details related to specific business processes.
Through the presentation, Ivan and Nenad will present statistically the most important elements in making these important decisions, and to assess the importance of each parameter in the decision. During the implementation process it is necessary to foresee the risks that ultimately can lead to increased costs and ultimately unsuccessful deployment. Certainly, the right decision is in direct correlation with the successful performance.
Finally, through the discussion on this topic, we will try to answer the question – How we make important decisions in business?
Key take-aways:
1. We make our decisions subjectively, and this is not necessarily bad
2. Implementation of ERP involves long-term cooperation with the supplier - we choose suppliers instead of the product
3. Implementation of ERP assumes and brings changes. Change management is an additional project.Speaker: Ivan Matejasic | Founder & CEO @ Spin

· Operational excellence becomes a necessity
· Lean management as a proven method to achieve operational excellence
· Key levers for acceleration of business processes digitalization
· Corporate culture of continuous improvement
· Operational excellence of the future
Overview:
Operations management is drastically changing. The change is demanding, challenging and inevitable, but at the same time very exciting. Operational excellence becomes a must for all companies that missioned themselves as market leaders or owners of significant market share in their branch. The way how the business is conducted in all parts of an organization becomes immensely important, since customers often demand quality service over price or product. Managers of today understand that operations or how they do business / deliver their products to customers, can make or break their business. They understand operations’ power of influence on business – it heavily affects cost, therefore revenue; it affects client satisfaction, therefore sales result and income; and finally, it provides capabilities and capacities for sustainable growth and development of an organization. Lately, managers on all hierarchical levels learned that they manage processes whatever they manage in the first place and thus they are all operations managers as well.
Journey to excellence in operations is simple, but not easy nor fast. One of the most used and proven method of achieving operational excellence is lean management. Simply said, lean aims on perfect match of demand and production, without waste. Lean methodology has its own view on five constituting parts of any organization and drives organization to become outstanding in all of them. Lean requires involvement and commitment of a whole organization, enables great business results, engaged and happy employees and continuous improvement corporate culture which ensures further growth of a company.
Highly developed western organizations deemed to have reached desired level of operational excellence open new chapter for their future: they heavily disrupt parts of their business, innovatively re-organize their operations and take over customer-centric, fully digital lean start-ups which enable them opening of new markets and capturing of new client pools.
Key take-awaxs:
1. Operational excellence is the key lever for achieving outstanding business results. Lean is prominent method of achieving operational excellence.
2. All of us, especially any kind of manager; manage processes, thus should be operationally great.
3. Tomorrow, our market will consist of small, rapidly changing and operationally outstanding companies that will offer new kind of consumerism, we hope environmentally and socially responsible.Distinguished key-note Speaker: Jasna Strajher | CEO @ Savvy Business Engineering

Presentation focus:
· Digital transformation trends
· Digital transformation issues
· Digital/transformative leadership
· Strategies for smart enterprises
· Strategies for smart cities
· Strategies for smart society
Overview:
When did you buy your first mobile phone? Don't you feel it has always been there, and you cannot even imagine the time without talking, surfing the web or sending text messages and videos from anywhere? However, the commercial expansion of mobile telephony is only twenty years old. IBM PC is 35 years old, and Tim Berners-Lee wrote the first web page 26 years ago. Wikimedia celebrates 21th birthday, and the Wi-fi standard has just come of age. Google was founded 18 years ago, YouTube 11 years ago, Facebook 10 and Apple's iPad 6 years ago. In 2013 Encyclopedia Britannica finaly gave up the printed edition. If the productivity in other industries advanced at the speed of computers, today we would be able to buy a ton of steak for 35 cents, the price of a four-bedroom house would not exceed 5 dollars, the average car would cost 75 cents, and an around the world plane ticket could be purchased for 3 bucks.
But the computer revolution is only at its beginning. The digital transformation has created a 3.5 billion Internet users market where anyone can trade with anyone in real time. We are facing a challenge that can best be described as Digital or dead! Smart phones, cloud computing, robotics, artificial intelligence, social networks, Internet of things and Big data are forcing us to build information technology into our DNA, or our future as companies, enterprises, societies or individuals becomes most uncertain. The key topic of this year's meeting of the world leaders at Davos was „The fourth industrial revolution". I plan to discuss the dilemmas, problems and opportunities that the digital transformation brings to the European and Croatian economy and society, and hopefully offer a few solutions.
Key take-aways:
1. Get acquainted with key "digital or dead" trends and dilemmas
2. Get motivated to "change or die"
3. Get prepared for the future and embrace digital leadershipDistinguished key-note Speaker: Prof. Velimir Srica, PhD | University Professor | Management & IT Consultant | President @ ELITE

Digital transformation opportunity
10:15 - 10:45 Hall Tomislav 3
Presentation focus:
· Leadership matters
· Driving culture change through effective change management
· Connecting customers, products, assets and people
· Adopting data culture
· Experiment and fail fast
Overview:
Technology is omnipresent, and this access to digital services is playing an increasing role in everything we do: shaping growth, changing industry landscapes, and providing the catalyst for new business models, products, services and experiences.
Capitalizing on this phenomenon is the key to innovation and growth. From the rise of connected devices and other “things” within the Internet of Things (IoT), the growing mounds of data, and the emergence of advanced analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence, to augmented reality and the next frontiers, the challenge and opportunity for business leaders is to harness the ubiquitous, disruptive force of technology to be more agile, fuel efficiency and ultimately shape their destiny.
Digital transformation represents the opportunity for businesses to think and operate like digital companies in the way they engage their customers, empower their employees, optimize their operations and transform their products. Companies that are doing this are seeing strong results: reduced overhead, conservation of resources, increased profits, and optimized operational efficiencies. And organizations mature in their journey with digital transformation generate an average of $100 million more in additional operating income each year than those who lag behind. Yet, only 14 percent of organizations today say they have completely digitized their business processes and only five percent of organizations feel that they have mastered digital to a point of differentiation from their competitors. For those businesses that can successfully disrupt and differentiate, the potential is remarkable.
Key take-aways:
1. Digital transformation requires a new mindset
2. How businesses can stay relevant and competitive in today’s new digital era
3. Technology is omnipresent, and this access to digital services is playing an increasing roleSpeaker: Trpimir Kvesic | Director of Founder & CEO @ In Sky Solutions

Digital Transformation (often) starts with the Customer
10:45 - 11:15 Hall Tomislav 3
Presentation focus:
· The fourth pillar of our digital transformation story – the internet of things.
· IoT is going to change the world.
· Possibly faster than any of the trends we mentioned above.
Overview:
Work has changed a lot over the past century – away from agriculture, to cities, to offices, to computers, to mobile devices. Each change was more rapid than the last. And rapid change is still going on today. Customers have also changed a lot in the last century. From markets to cities to malls to the Web, and now to mobile. Again, each change faster than the last, and again change is still in progress.
The way we feed our factories and production processes and businesses has changed. We’re no longer limited by the materials and supplies available locally. We can get pretty much anything, from anywhere in the world. But that requires careful planning and analysis. We have to balance cost, quality, and speed of supply. Having access to the right materials at the right time can make or break not just companies but industries. Supplier relationships are being digitized to keep pace with this.
Digitization is the next wave of change sweeping business and the world. Old business models are going away. Consumer behavior is changing. The way we hire and train, and use resources is changing. This presentation will give you insight into SAP’s strategy; our recent investments and innovation, and the portfolio of solutions we offer. We spotted these trends early, so we would be ready to help our customers. Keeping our eye on the horizon, and planning for what’s next is an important part of what we do. It helps us to build that trusted relationship. We have helped our customers through many transformations in markets and business models and technology before. And we are ready to do it again.
Key take-aways:
1. Digitization is the next wave of change sweeping business and the world.
2. Consumer behavior is changing.
3. The world is changing. Megatrends are sweeping across industries and economies. Businesses must transform for the new digital world, and SAP is ready to help them.Speaker: Denis Dunat | Consulting Director @ SAP

Overview:
With over 50 billion connected devices expected by 2020, the Internet of things (IoT) is poised to have a major impact. IoT encompasses any object with a unique identifier that can be connected in an Internet-like structure and communicate with similarly tagged objects. IoT promises to bring increased visibility into products, processes, customers and partners—and significant benefits in terms of reduced costs and improved efficiency; greater speed and scale; and the ability to create new smart products and services.
For businesses to take the greatest advantage of IoT, they will need to define a comprehensive approach to unifying a wide array of devices within the data center with one goal in mind: extract the most useful insights as quickly as possible, and turn those insights into action. In particular, disruptive potential comes from the ability to deal with vast quantities of data in raw form. This is where Oracle’s technologies are increasingly on target. Oracle Internet of Things Cloud Service equips organizations to prepare themselves for the onslaught of data coming their way as the industrial internet takes hold.

Digital Transformation (DX) Challenges in Public Sector Special Guest Speaker
16:30 - 17:00 Hall Tomislav 3
Presentation focus:
· Digital Transformation (DX) as an innovation instance
· DX characteristics in the public sector – incremental or disruptive?
· Why is public sector DX lagging behind real sector?
· Possible areas of DX in public sector including virtual case study
· Recommendations for public sector DX implementation
Overview:
Author makes introduction about Digital Transformation (DX): it is an instance of innovation and should obey its rules. Primarily it relates to the phases of Innovation Life Cycle (ILC). This cycle is presented by 8 E’s concept. Here the application of this concept on DX:
1. Envision: strategy of organization's DX
2. Encourage: pushing employees and customers in DX direction
3. Enable: putting ideation tools in place, overcoming barriers
4. Explore: finding areas applicable for DX – incremental and disruptive
5. Evaluate: check of idea feasibility, marketing and compliance
6. Experiment: test, pilot, assess
7. Execute: decision, roll out (organization, environment) and measurement
8. Evolve: improve and align with new strategy, back to beginning!
In the second part of presentation, author applies these DX rules on public sector specific issues. Lagging back of DX implementation in public sector globally and in Croatia is explained based on DESI 2016. Report (Digital Economy and Society Index). Indicator 5. “Digital Public Services” shows that Croatia is lagging back especially in G2C interactive communication: only 21% of Internet users (against 32% in the EU average) interact online and send filled-in forms to public authorities.
In the third part author describes some possible areas of DX in public sector (legal system, G2C, healthcare) and brings one “virtual case study” of possible DX application – public notary service.
Finally, author stresses simple but mandatory recommendations for DX in general and specific to public sector:
• DX process is to be performed as any other innovation process
• There is no activity, process or organization not susceptible to DX
• DX is mostly about customer engagement – citizens in public sector
• DX needs internal preconditions and infrastructure in eco-system
• DX drivers: revenue and sustainable profit vs. efficiency and effectiveness in public sector
• “Technology push” for DX exists – “authorities pull” instead of “market pull” is needed.
Key take-aways:
1. Perform DX as any other innovation process – develop innovation culture in public sector!
2. DX in public sector is about citizens’ engagement in digital way
3. After existing “technology push” there is a need for “authorities pull”Speaker: Miroslav Madjaric, PhD. | Innovation Consultant

Certainly we could have organized 4 separate conferences on 4 distinct dates, but then you wouldn’t have the chance to network with 4 times more people and you wouldn’t have the option to switch from one conference to another during the day. While off course you cannot be at all the 4 conferences at the same time (unless you’re a mutant from the Marvel universe), it gives you a much greater flexibility and choices to switch conference presentations and hear speakers at different panels. All the 4 conferences run at the single venue @ Hotel & Congress Center Antunovic Zagreb.
Each conference starts and ends with a distinguished key-note presentation, followed by the stream of 8 corporate talks inbetween. Each speaker has 20-25 minutes for the speech + 5-10 minutes reserved for Q&A from the audience. Altogether there are 8 key-notes and 32 corporate cases presented throughout the JUMP IT FORUM, making it a total of 40 presentations.
In short - YES!
You will nonetheless need to indicate which conference you are registering for as your main event. Once at the venue, you can visit talks and presentations at other conferences, as well.
Yes, just drop us an email to info@jumpitforum.com
There is no "official language" per se. Nonetheless, many of the presentations will be deliverred in English and some will be in Croatian, depending on the particular speaker. Hard to imagine a guy from India speaking Croatian, but then you never know.
Truth is we don't believe in dress-codes, so wear what you feel best suits you. If you like suit & tie, that's fine, but so are jeans.
If your group is more than 5 people, drop us a quick email to register@jumpitforum.com
After confirming your registration, we will send you an invoice, presumably with your company data. Based on the invoice, your company will make the bank transfer to settle the payment.
We do not take credit/debit cards or cash. Bank-transfer is the sole means of payment.
No, we don’t sell delegates’ details as leads to third parties (sorry Sponsors!). Naturally, we keep your data on our secured servers, as we will keep you posted about next edition of the JUMP IT FORUM in 2018. You will get a maximum of 3 email messages from us and that’s it. We leave it up to you to decide with whom you’d like to share your info.
